About us
We build technology that brings people closer to their surroundings, their lives and their community.
TRIUM BARBATIS, S.L. is the Valencia-based company that designs, builds and runs vibeelo.
Technology to reconnect with what is close to you.
We have never been so connected, and yet so far from what is right beside us. We know what happens on the other side of the world, but not what's happening on our street, or who shares what we love ten minutes from home.
And yet neighbourhoods, towns and cities still have a life of their own: people who organise, people who join in, communities that grow around what they love. That life is still there; it's just hard to find.
We believe technology should bring people closer to their surroundings, not pull them away. That is why Trium Barbatis exists, and why we make vibeelo.
Why Trium Barbatis?
It's Latin for, roughly, "of the three bearded ones". That's how we started: three friends with beards and a plan. The team is bigger now; beards are still optional.
We connect people with their surroundings, their lives and their community.
vibeelo is how we do it: an app to discover what is happening near you, join plans and communities, and create your own. For people, creators, businesses and city councils.
